Enliven my heart
to pray
bold and vervent,
wide and active.
Fill me up
to know
nothing apart from you
is true life.
May my prayers
be big enough
to effect change.
I want to see
with your eyes,
to observe you at work
in my day-to-day.
May my prayers
be small enough
to express my dependence.
I want to experience
your glory in my every way.
And most of all,
whatever changes
come from
bold and insistent honesty,
may you be ever-changing me
to become the woman
you have for me to be.
